OrientationGlossary
Dalamatia Dalamatia was the physical Earth headquarters of the Planetary Prince, Caligastia. It was established around 500,000 BC in the area corresponding to present day Iraq. It was the world center of culture, laid out in ten subdivisions, enclosed within a wall forty feet high. After the planetary rebellion around 200,000 BC, it sank beneath the waters of the Persian Gulf. Eden Eden was the beautiful headquarters of Adam and Eve on Earth. Established around 35,000 BC, Eden was situated on a peninsula in the eastern Mediterranean Sea. "Without and beyond, the world lay in darkness, ignorance, and savagery. Eden was the one bright spot on Earth. It was a garden of exquisite and perfected landscape glory. After the default of Adam and Eve, a second garden was established to the east, between the Tigris and Euphrates rivers. The original Eden eventually sank below the waters of the Mediterranean Sea. Urantia Urantia is the name of planet Earth on the universe registries. Urantia is unusual for a number of reasons. It is a decimal planet (the site of life experimentation). Earth had an abnormal introduction of the colored (Sangik) races. Earth was thrown into confusion and quarantined from contact with the local universe by the Lucifer Rebellion and the Caligastia defection. The administration of Earth was further handicapped by the Adamic default. Partially because of these handicaps, Earth was selected for the bestowal of Michael, the universe sovereign, who incarnated on Urantia as Jesus of Nazareth. System (Satania) Satania is the administrative system of approximately 1,000 inhabitable planets to which Earth belongs; one of the 10,000 such systems in Nebadon. Jerusem is the capital sphere of the Satania. Satania was named for Satan, the first assistant to Lucifer, who was the System Sovereign at the time of the rebellion two hundred thousand years ago. Jerusem Jerusem is the headquarters of Earth's local system of Satania. It is the first of many capital spheres ascenders will visit during their ascent to Paradise. Ascenders attain Jerusem after traversing the seven Mansion Worlds, which are among the satellites of Jerusem. Mansion Worlds The mansion worlds are where ascenders go after departing Earth. They consist of seven small satellites circling the first of the seven transition worlds orbiting Jerusem, the system capital. Mortal resurrection occurs on the first mansion world, known as Mansonia Number One. Constellation (Norlatiadek) Norlatiadek is the constellation to which Earth belongs. Constellations represent the 100 primary divisions of local universes and link the systems to local universe administration. Edentia Edentia is the capital of Earth's constellation of Norlatiadek. It a beautiful architecturally constructed world that contains a potential of 100,000 inhabited planets. The "gardens of Eden" established on the individual planets by the planetary Adams and Eves, are named after this sphere. Local Universe (Nebadon) Nebadon is the name of Earth's local universe, one of 700,000 similar creations in the grand universe. It is the creation and the domain of Christ Michael, who lived a life in the flesh on Earth as Jesus. Nebadon has a potential of ten million inhabited planets, grouped and administered into 100 constellations each having 100 systems of 1000 worlds each. Salvinton Salvington is the immense capital of the local universe of Nebadon and the personal headquarters of Christ Michael. Ten clusters of architectural worlds, each containing forty-nine spheres, surround it. Ascenders visit each of these 490 satellites before attaining the presence of Michael on Salvington, from where they depart as first stage spirit beings to continue the long ascent to Paradise. Super Universe Seven (Orvonton) Orvonton is the seventh of the seven super universes that, in conjunction with the Paradise/Havona system, comprise the grand universe of time and space. Orvonton is divided into 10 major sectors, each of which is divided into 100 minor sectors. Each minor sector contains 1,000 local universes. Each local universe is comprised of 100 constellations. Each constellation is comprised of 100 local systems, each having a potential of 1,000 inhabited worlds. Earth is the 606th of the 619 currently inhabited worlds in the system of Satania. Uversa Uversa is the capital of Orvonton, the seventh super universe, and the last place ascenders visit in the ascension career before proceeding to the eternal central universe. From Uversa, the Ancients of Days authorized giving the fifth epochal revelation, The Urantia Book, to Earth. Central Universe (Havona) Havona is the eternal Central Universe. It consists of one billion worlds arranged in seven concentric circles. These billion worlds circle Paradise with its twenty-one sacred spheres. The pilgrims of time and space will eventually visit and study in every one of these billion enormous, perfect, unique worlds, enroute to the Father on Paradise. Paradise Paradise is at the center of all creation. It is the largest body of organized reality in the entire cosmos. Paradise is a stationary isle. It does not occupy space. It generates all space. Paradise is eternal, without beginning or end. Paradise is the abode of the Universal Father, and the origin of the Paradise Creator Sons. Paradise is the destination of ascending time-space creatures. Universe Types 1. Local Universe: There are 700,000 local universes in the Grand Universe, each having a potential of 10,000 inhabited worlds. Earth's local universe is Nebadon, the domain of Michael, the Creator Son of Nebadon. 2. Super universe. There are seven super universes, each having 100,000 local universes. Earth's super universe is Orvonton. The Milky Way is the nucleus of Orvonton. 3. Central Universe: This consists of Havona, the 1 billion worlds circling Paradise, as well as Paradise itself and 21 sacred spheres. 4. Grand Universe. This consists of the central universe plus the seven super universes. 5. Master Universe: All creation, the grand universe plus the four outer space levels. The enormous reaches of the outer space levels are being organized for future habitation. Glossary Absolute The absolute level had no beginning. It is endless, timeless, and contains no space. The absolute transcends time, space, infinity, eternity, and the Ultimate. Absoluta Space potency; a phase of force-energy which is a prereality, considered to be the free space presence of the Unqualified Absolute, and is responsive only to the grasp of the Universal Father. Absolutum Absolutum is the matter composing Paradise. It is not found anywhere else in creation. Absonite Absonite is a level of existence midway between absolute and finite. Things and beings without beginning or ending that characterize the absonite level of reality. It transcends time and space. Absoniters are not created. They are eventuated. They simply are. Absonite things and beings are sub-infinite since they do have limitations. Incarnation Incarnation is the unrevealed process by which the spirit of man or god inhabits mortal flesh. Infinite Infinite things have no limits. Unlimited distance or number is called infinity. Unlimited time is called eternity. Mortals are finite beings who cannot really begin to comprehend infinity or eternity. Like God, who is infinite and eternal, mortals must accept unlimited realities on faith. Eugenics Eugenics is the study of improving the human race by selective reproduction, that is, encouraging the multiplication of the higher strains of all races, while limiting the reproduction of the lower types. It comes from the Greek eu, meaning good, and genos, meaning race. Eventuate Eventuate means to be - not created, not evolving, but simply being. Creatures can hardly comprehend the existence of intelligent beings that are neither creators nor creatures. Some things and beings were never created nor do they create. They eventuate. Evolutionary Evolutionary things grow and develop. The Supreme Being is evolutionary and experiential, as distinguished from the Universal Father who is existential. Mankind's religions are evolutionary, as distinguished from the Urantia Book, which is revelatory. The development of higher animals and man from simple one-celled creatures was an evolutionary process. Existential Existential things simply are. The Unqualified Absolute is existential. The Ultimate eventuates. The Supreme evolves experientially. Experiential Experiential means having experience. This implies existing in time and space rather than infinity and eternity. The Supreme Being is the experiential aspect of Deity. Finite Finite things have limits. For example, seven hundred trillion (the number of potential worlds in the Grand Universe) is a finite number. Jesusonian Jesusonian is a personal religion. It is distinguished from the Christian religion since it emphasizes the teachings of Jesus, rather than the teachings about Jesus. Unfortunately, the religion about Jesus has largely replaced the religion of Jesus, the simple gospel of faith and love, the fatherhood of God and the brotherhood of man. Morontia Morontia is the transitional state of being between the physical and the spiritual. Jesus was in his morontial bodies during his nineteen resurrection appearances to his apostles and other believers. Mortals will become morontia beings when they arrive on the Mansion worlds after resurrection from mortal death. The morontia body will be up stepped 570 times before the ascendant being departs from the local universe as a first-stage spirit being on the ascension journey to Paradise. Morontia refers to material, mind, soul, and spiritual realities. Ultimate God the Ultimate entails the attained realization of the synthesized absonite-super personal, time-space-transcended, and eventuated-experiential values, coordinated on final creative levels of Deity reality." Ultimate means final - the final level of reality just before Absolute. Ultimaton An energy particle that is the primary unit of material existence, 100 of which combine to form a single electron. Ultimatons are not responsive to linear gravity, but are subject to Paradise gravity. “Universe” The Urantia Book uses the term "universe" in several different ways. It speaks of local universes and super universes, of the central universe, the grand universe, and the master universe. Havona is the name of the central universe. This is the creation that immediately surrounds Paradise. (The Isle of Paradise is not a part of any universe; it is the motionless and absolute center of all material things.) Havona is encircled by the seven super universes. Orvonton is the name of the seventh super universe in which Earth (Urantia) is located. Each super universe is designed to embrace 100,000 local universes. Nebadon is the name of Earth’s local universe. In speaking about the central universe plus the seven super universes, The Urantia Book uses the name "grand universe." This is the presently organized and inhabited creation in contrast to the unorganized and uninhabited space regions (the four outer space levels) beyond the grand universe. When referring to the grand universe plus the four outer space levels, The Urantia Book uses the term, "master universe." Unqualified Reality Unqualified reality is beyond all description. Nothing can be said about it because once described, it is qualified. The infinite I AM freed himself from unqualified infinity energy through the exercise of absolute free will. The Urantia Book The 196 papers of The Urantia Book constitute the fifth epochal revelation to planet Earth. Authored by super humans, it was completed in 1936 and published in 1955 by Urantia Foundation. Its 2,097 pages are divided into four parts: The Central and Super universes, the Local Universe, the History of Urantia (Earth), and the Life and Teachings of Jesus. The book has been republished many times and translated into many languages. The book will receive no official publicity pending the formation of thousands of study groups.
